- Koka Booth Amphitheatre at Regency Park
Booth Amphitheatre is unlike any other venue in the area. Located among 14 acres of stately hardwoods and pines and beautifully situated next to Symphony Lake, our park has been described as truly magnificent! With the capacity for 7,000 people, patrons can enjoy a seat on our spacious lawn or specially designed crescent deck. The Amphitheatre's performance season runs April through October and features an eclectic mix of entertainers which includes live music concerts and festivals, the North Carolina Symphony Summerfest Series and Movies by Moonlight movie nights. - Musueums around the Triangle

This is a listing of the events staged at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds on a monthly basis. Included is the name of the event and building location. For more information please contact the event promoter listed or the Fairgrounds office at 919-821-7400 - Events Information Line - Extension 22 or Facility Rentals - Extension 4501. All events are subject to last minute changes.

Fairgrounds gates - On Thursday, October 16, the fairgrounds gates open 3 p.m. to midnight. From October 17-26, fairgrounds gates open 8 a.m. to midnight (must have advance ticket to get in the gate between 10 p.m. and midnight)
Exhibit Halls - On Thursday, October 16, exhibit halls open 4 to 9:45 p.m. From October 17-26, exhibit halls open 9 a.m. to 9:45 p.m.
Midway rides - On Thursday, October 16, Midway rides open 4 p.m. to midnight. From October 17-26, Midway rides open 10 a.m. to midnight.
Ticket booths - Open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Since opening night (October 29, 1999) the RBC Center has held over a thousand events for audiences of all ages. NCAA Basketball Tournaments, NHL Stanley Cup Finals, Disney on Ice, Paul McCartney, Pavarotti, Patti LaBelle, Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, USHRA Monster Jam, NHL Entry Draft, Jeopardy College Championship, just to name a few. The fair business has changed over the years to a degree, but only to get better and better. With attendance at an all time high, this industry is quite alive and well and its future is assured as we begin the 21st century. As long as there is pride in agriculture, animals, talent, competition, industry, technology, education, environment and lots of wonderful things that make North Carolina a great and wonderful state, there will always be fairs.
